POEM | Divine and Fated

It is divine and it is fated;

Like a new moon before the storm comes.

I don’t chase, I attract;

A heretic is someone who tells the truth too soon.

I can never lose what is rightfully mine;

You can’t win the game if you don’t sit at the table long enough.

It is divine and it is fated;

Like a magnetic pull of kismet unfolding before us.

I don’t chase, I attract;

Love is always patient and kind even when we’re not.

I can never lose what is rightfully mine;

Sometimes you wait not knowing if you’ll be adored or cursed.

It is divine and it is fated;

Our souls returned just to fall in love for the last time.

I don’t chase, I attract;

We sometimes turn away though our fates are locked together.

I can never lose what is rightfully mine;

I will always have faith even though I can’t see it yet.
